One year on from the entry into force of Royal Decree 436 (establishing new feed-in tariffs for renewable electricity), the development of grid-connected PV in Spain seems to have experienced a notable increase.
PV installed power is estimated to have totalled 17 MW as of December 2004. Additionally the average size of each installation has also increased, as well as the number of applications for new units.
