The SOL 1 000 programme targeting roof-tops is progressing well. Both the Danish Energy Authority and the Danish network operators (responsible for funding research into new environmental benign energy technology under a Public Service obligation) are working on strategies for PV. The national PV strategy, under the Danish Energy Authority, is expected to be ready by the end of 2003.
