| Abstract: | Motivations, objectives,
and specific achievements and progress of the first five years of activities
of the IEA Photovoltaic Power Systems Co-operation Programme are summarized.
A brief input of the activities starting now or planned for the future is
also given. The primary scope of the programme has been the information exchange about activities already in progress in the respective national programmes. But the real value of the co-operation has been the informal coordination and initiation of new activities such as the analysis of the operation and performance of a large number of PV systems already installed in the world and the provision of the lessons learned as well as guidelines for appropriate design improvements. |
