Under the IEA Photovoltaics Power Systems Programme, eight projects, known as Annexes or Tasks, are being, or have been, implemented. Within two of these projects databases have been compiled. It concerns:

Task 2. Performance, Reliability and Analysis of Photovoltaic Systems

• Performance Database. The database contains high quality data of a large number of monitored PV plants from around the world adapted to various applications (power supply, domestic uses, rural electrification, professional applications). Detailed system characteristics of selected PV plants as well as monitored data are stored in the database.

Task 7. Photovoltaic power systems in the built environment

• Task 7 BIPV database, January 2002. Check the database for outstanding BIPV projects and products. Almost 400 projects are covering world-wide PV applications in different building areas, e.g.g. facade, flat and sloped roof, integrated or on the roof mounted, louvres, etc.
