| Description: | What problems will the introduction of building integrated photovoltaic systems (BIPV) encounter before being able to enter the market on a large scale? By order of ENW Renewable Energy BV, IVAM Environmental Research conducted a literature study in the framework of Task 7 of the IEA photovoltaic power systems programme. Subtask 3.1 concentrates on the assessment of barriers for usage of building integrated PV. Many literature sources were screened on non-technical problems for the application of PV in the built environment and renewable energy in general and strategies to overcome these. |
